Exclusive Song: Asalaam-E-Ishqum (Gunday)

Exclusive Song: Asalaam-E-Ishqum (Gunday)

Watch Priyanka Chopra as the ravishing diva… the electrifying danseuse… Calcutta’s darling…the most beautiful cabaret dancer, Nandita! She takes your breath away with a salute to love – presenting ‘Asalaam-e-Ishqum’ sung by Bappi Lahiri and Neha Bhasin from Yash Raj Films’ GUNDAY.

Talking about the track composer Sohail Sen told us, “‘Asalaam-E-Ishqum’ was a tough one to crack as Ali wanted a cabaret number for Gunday that had to have the feel of 70s cabaret yet it should sound contemporary. So thats how we got Bappi da onboard and incorporated his nuances to the song.”

Take the front seats… the screen will scorch… the mercury will rise… a word of advice – you’ll blink, you’ll swoon! Don’t say we didn’t warn you…

Music Video: Tune Maari Entriyaan (Gunday)

Music Video: Tune Maari Entriyaan (Gunday)

Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor wooing their ladylove Priyanka Chopra from Gunday in style, we are sure many would love to emulate this crazy duo. This Valentines Day the Gunday trio promises that your hearts will ring. My suggestion is don’t wait for February 14, in fact, start dancing to this fun number right now. Tune maari entriyaan song is a treat, not just visually but also as far as the sound goes. Ranveer and Arjun as Bikram and Bala are adorable in this number.

Ranveer, steals the thunder from his co-stars yet again. Even the Exotic babe has no chance of grabbing your attention when Mr Singh is at his act. He’s the crazy lover and his energy is infectious. The moment RS is on the screen he lights it up with his dance, expressions and energy.

The song itself might remind you of some of Govinda and Anil Kapoor numbers, but considering that the film is from another era it does complete justice, in fact it will appeal to today’s audience too. Vishal Dadlani, KK and Neeti Mohan along with Bappi Lahiri give you a melodious and funtastic treat.

Sohail Sen adds the Calcutta tadka without taking it away from today commercial massy numbers, in fact Irshad Kamil’s lyrics are easy to remember and sing along too.
